SPRAYMAN Pest Blocker Foam
Description
Defend your home effectively with SPRAYMAN Pest Blocker Foam, your top choice for "pestblock foam" engineered for comprehensive home defense. This polyurethane prepolymer-based blocking foam contains an EPA-registered pesticide, deterring pests like mice, birds, bats, ants, and roaches. Available in two sizes to suit your needs: 24 oz with a gun applicator for larger projects and 12 oz with a straw applicator for precision control. Ideal for sealing gaps, cracks, and other entry points in garages, attics, crawl spaces, and beneath sinks, this foam acts as both a gap filler and crack filler. Its expanding, waterproof sealant properties provide rodent-resistant insulation and a formidable barrier against insects.
Key Features
- Versatile Use: This foam is specially formulated to seal wider gaps, joints, and cavities found in garages, attics, crawl spaces, and basements. It’s also perfect for insulating door and window frames, filling wall penetrations, and surrounding electrical outlets and water pipes—anywhere pests, insects, or drafts might penetrate. Its high expansion rate makes it an essential foam sealant for mice, pest control foam, and mice hole filler.
- Pest Control Efficiency: Functions as an effective pest control foamer and mouse foam, preventing the intrusion of pests into your home. Also serves as a rat foam and mouse proof sealant, delivering a comprehensive pest management solution.
- Superior Adhesion and Coverage: Known for its strong adhesion, this foam fills wider gaps efficiently, acting as a stop pest solution and rodent sealant. Additionally, it offers outstanding thermal insulation.
- Durable and Safe: Once cured, the foam is mold-proof, waterproof, and can be trimmed, shaped, sanded, and painted, fitting seamlessly into your home’s aesthetics.
Application Guidelines
- Safety Precautions: Contains Diphenylmethane-4,4'-Diisocyanate. Harmful by inhalation and irritating to the eyes and skin. Use in well-ventilated areas and wear suitable protective clothing and gloves.
- Surface Preparation: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from contaminants to achieve optimal adhesion. Lightly moistening surfaces before application enhances foam expansion and adhesion.
- Optimal Application Conditions: Apply at ambient temperatures from +23°F to +86°F. The can should be at room temperature (+68°F) for best results.
- Installation: Shake can vigorously before use. For gun applicator, attach to the gun, invert and dispense slowly. For straw applicator, attach the straw, invert the can, and apply the foam slowly. Start from the bottom of the gap and work upwards to avoid overfilling as the foam will expand.
- Curing and Finishing: Tack-free within about 7 minutes; fully cures in 24 hours. Once cured, it can be trimmed, shaped, and sanded for precise adjustments. Paint or coat after curing to protect against UV damage and enhance durability.
